Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Good morning campers on the bright and beautiful day .
So the story of the stereo,I went yesterday and it was a 6 hours round trip ,snowing and through what the Finns call wild country sometimes 7/8 miles between houses ,so I took a slightly different route on the way back.
Being a builer and once a boss I knew straight away I would need longer cable as their room was smaller than where we were going to put it and of course I planned every point of the installation .I needed to go to two shops in order to get the correct gauge of wire and in the length I needed .
Arrived home of course the old cables were long enough and I forgot to by the correct HDMI arc cable so I couldn't connect it or try it .I have now got the one I need but there are warnings on the radio that we are in for a lot of snow and they are telling us to get all travel done this morning as we can expect upwards of 30cm(a foot) of snow from this afternoon .
This is in a country that use studded tyres and the buses and trains run so on time you can set your watch with them .
It is the first time I have known them do it but we once came of a skiing trip up north to 40cm .
Off out to cut some firewood before I start setting up this stereo which provides settings for each speaker distance from where we sit .I love the technology today but there will be a few f words flying around quite soon so best do the wood first .
I hope all have a great day ,better than the one I am expecting setting up the stereo .COYB

Hope this is all worth it Blue.

Are you happy with the new manager (assuming the rumours are true)? I wanted him pre Benitez so I'm pretty happy with it. Most fans seem on board with it but not sure how much if that is not wanting the alternative ?

Be interesting to see what players he can bring in during the 48 hours he has left.

Might as well throw @emir into the mix

Hope this is all worth it Blue.

Morning all, Fred, I didn't really want Lampard but he's not the worst, the thing that worries me is has he accepted it? It's a he'll of a challenge and the more I'd have thought about it the less I'd want the job, is it now a poisoned challis?
Bad storms up here last night and it's still badly gusting, bins and rubbish all over the back garden, whirlygig Cover torn off but fence thankfully still in tact and roof still attached to the house.
You all have a great day and I hope the weather is better around the world where you guys are.

Polo mints ,did you know horses love them ,them and trebor mints .I used to take an old friend to farm shops many years ago as he loved to see more than 100 yards ,he used to stock up on mints and the horses knew him .There was a shire that would run the length ofthe field when he whistled ,it was frightening as he came up so fast ,I still don't know how it stopped .Lovely memory thanks .
Oh polo mints are a good one and I used to always have a pack of extra strong mints on me, like polo fruits as well, are they still about?

Morning all , I’m here in the home of my very old great friend Russell and his family. His son Matthew came across … I met him when he was born and now af 17 he towers over me still treats me like an uncle … and his lovely his wife a gorgeous Brazilian painter baked me a cake (lemon drizzle) we drank wine .. played guitar … ate chilli and Matthew sang Beatles songs … he grew up in a home with Russel and guitars and always there’s music
Later just Russ and I and a bottle of Monkey Shoulder and we fixed the world
Never underestimate the power of friends and family … I’m a single man yet I need for nothing though I am drawn to friends when my soul gets a battering ….
This little group reminds me that friends in this age are as important as ever they were and friends Can become real even if they only exist through a priceless football chat site
Thank you mascoteers for being friendly to each other … this legacy of our friend is valuable on so many levels
Sounds great that, I miss going back to my mates house and them all playing guitar, weird how a lot of my mates played but I never, I was more a DJ, always thought my hands were too small lol

I am very impressed with all of your efforts. Hope it lives up to expectations.

These were the first band I ever got into as I started developing my own tastes as a kid, had some brilliant albums out and Hutch was my hero.
Being a huge Boomtown Rats and Bob Geldof fan, ( to the extent that I spent silly money on a VIP meet and greet with them at one gig. So worth it. ) I've never quite forgiven Hutch for breaking Bob's heart and stealing Paula Yates away from him. I've never really listened to much of INXS but have to say nobody seemed to have a bad word to say about him.
