Cheers Fred, I've had a strong coffee and feel a bit better already, don't know why I felt so exhausted this morning, I got up at the normal time but ended crashing asleep on the couch til 9.

I don't feel great but that's because I got the Rum out last night. Never learn.

I don't want to get morbid but I have never understood how or why it takes so long to get from death to funeral in the UK? As explained over here it's generally a three day processes. For example my father died at 10am on a Monday morning, we waked him at home that night, then Tuesday was what we call the removal when they are removed from funeral home to church then mass Wednesday morning and burial/cremation afterwards. That was super fast because of fact he died early Monday morning but 9/10 here you would be buried 3 days 4 max after death

It took me 3 weeks to register Cal's death before I could even get a date for her funeral.

That was unusual, but it always takes at least 2 weeks in my experience.

That is done immediately by the hospitals here AFAIK. Tbh that almost seems barbaric on the families left behind, genuinely sorry you had to go through that

Oh polo mints are a good one and I used to always have a pack of extra strong mints on me, like polo fruits as well, are they still about?

Had a really bad day .. my aunt who lived next door to my home house all my life passed away suddenly this morning.

So on the stereo saga and the disappointment of no rear speakers -it seems all musical recordings are in mono ? and then remastered into stereo and that if you want surround sound it will upset the balance and produce an inferior sound .So it is only good for gaming and films ,I can't wait to play cards online to see the difference in surround sound .
Over here they are reporting Our Frank has been offered the job but no confirmation as yet .

I will. The funeral is actually this evening and tomorrow. No delays over here!
So she will be waked this evening in her home

I feel alright now actually, bit of a headache but that's standard. I haven't seen polo fruits for years, I will hunt for them.

What sort of garden plants? Now I'm really jealous, our spring is definitely not around the corner. Asheville can be the coldest in March, although like every where else in the world weather patterns are changing and every now and then we get a warm one but this year we are getting more snow than usual so I wouldn't be surprised if stays cold until then.
