Being a huge Boomtown Rats and Bob Geldof fan, ( to the extent that I spent silly money on a VIP meet and greet with them at one gig. So worth it. ) I've never quite forgiven Hutch for breaking Bob's heart and stealing Paula Yates away from him. I've never really listened to much of INXS but have to say nobody seemed to have a bad word to say about him.

I never understood why he went for Yates given some of the lasses he had been with. I watched it live on the big breakfast where she was all over him and they were blatantly flirting on camera, then next thing she's having an affair with him. I did feel for geldof, I don't like cheating but when a guy is your hero, you accept it lol double standards.

Greetings from a wet and cold Cork. Our three year old tested positive for the Rona but is showing absolutely no symptoms but it still means a quiet weekend and coming week for us. She has settled on the explanation that " I have germs up my nose" as to why she can't go visit anyone etc.

@Barnfred 55 look's like it's a good appointment for you anyway. I'm completely neutral on it tbh but I do think it could be very positive as both himself and the club could grow together if he gets it right. I love seeing Anthony Barry's name being linked as well, he has done an amazing job as a defensive coach with the Irish senior team and with a lot of the criticism of Lampard being the number of goals his Chelsea side conceded, it looks to me like a guy saying I need some help with that and bringing in one of the best up and coming specialist coach's to get that help

Well that was easy .It maay well have been because it had been set up before and that it came on automatically as soon as I switched on the tv !.One down side was I tried to listen to Youtube music to try it and the rear speakers were dead ,it seems that youtube now only send it in stereo.

Morning all. I'm doing overtime, it's blowing a gale outside. And I'm not a happy bunny. Foolishly asked my boss yesterday if he had anything he wanted shifting on overtime and he has sent me an absolute beast of a referral. It's been here for ages, hundreds of pages to read and I'm up to 24 different things I have to consider. The whole point of overtime is that we close cases quickly. Value for money and all that. That's never going to happen today. I'll keep my mouth shut next time.

Really not sure about Lampard but willing to see how it pans out.

So she will be waked this evening in her home

Wow. Can't believe how quick that is. Over here we'd still be waiting for the green form to register the death. Hope everything goes well and you give her a good send off.

Is it one of those places where the whole village turns out.? Bet there'll be lots if Guinness and Jamiesons drunk tonight.

There is absolutely no fear of her Anj, the amazing thing for me is that both myself and my wife continue to test negative, neither of us have had it yet and I don't understand how we are still avoiding it in the circumstances. But glad we are so far anyway

Never heard of Anthony Barry tbh. But it's a clean slate for everyone as far as I'm concerned. As long as he doesn't have us zonal marking.
