Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Well the left back is our only recognised left back. And Patterson will be made up I'm sure. He's Lampards type of player. Not sure about the Villa lad. Don't even know why we loaned him in to begin with.

I'm still so angry about Digne going. It was so unnecessary.
I'm still angry about Digne, too.

If Benitez was one match away from getting sacked, and knowing Digne was only leaving because of a fallout with him, why couldn't they just delay the transfer for a week? If they had, he'd still be here. Just shows how inept the board is.
That makes three of us still being angry. Every time think of Digne's goodbye letter it makes me so sad and so mad that Moshiri and the Board allowed it to happen only to get rid off the FSW a few days later.

@sass
Awe, thanks for the confidence @blue1948 I really think I gave it my best, I was committed to having a good performance and spent many hours getting prepared for this interview. I also have a lot of institutional knowledge because of my current job so I really hope the committee offers me the position but if they don't then other opportunities will come my way and it won't be the end of the world either.
You’ve got this Sassy, I had a cup of tea this morning, and the T leafs told me the job is yours;)

Good morning all. Glad you thought the interview went well @Sassy Colombian . It's always good to feel you gave it your best shot. I know you probably will do this but if you happen not to get it, ask for feedback on your performance. That can be helpful if another opportunity comes up. As for Diaz @Toast is right. Once he gets on Klopps special brew he will be unstoppable!
As you all know I've been trying to eat more healthily. As part of the plan I also decided we should try to eat at least one veggie meal a week. Last night I made spicy cauliflower nuggets in bean stew. It was really delicious. The rest of the family loved it too so that was a positive as well.
Had to have the timing belt replaced on my car last week. £399.06. Ouch!
Have a great day all.
Thanks for the advise, Ange. I will definitely do that.

Have I mentioned already how rubbish is Colombia today ;) I'm sure Diaz will thrive with the Reds while not performing for Colombia, like most of the Colombian talent that we currently have all over the world doing great at their club only to choke with the National Team. Then we will play against him and he probably score from a mistake from Mina lol Oh my, I am really starting to sound as pessimistic as some posters here.

I have also made it a goal to eat more vegetarian meals per week this year and the cauliflower nuggets in bean stew sound delicious, I would love to see the recipe if you feel like sharing it.

That's for sure a big ouch, sorry. I have to say that I'm fortunate that my husband own a car shop and I don't have to deal with such expenses. But I am really hard on my car and I'm very clumsy so my poor hubby is always have to fix something that I do to it  I'm definitely not cheap.

Morning all, fairly bright morning here today and thankfully the wind of the last few days has died down. Very noisy here at the moment, the RAF are on manoeuvres overhead again and you can hardly hear yourself think. Glad your interview went well @Sassy Colombian. We’ll all be waiting with bated breath for the result. Hope your headache clears soon @Terrarian and you are able to contact the pain clinic and get something sorted. Thinking of Mrs M @Methuselah . Have a lovely day all.
I am glad it is over for sure and that I felt good with my performance.

I hope the wind stops blowing your way and the sun moves in instead ?

That makes three of us still being angry. Every time think of Digne's goodbye letter it makes me so sad and so mad that Moshiri and the Board allowed it to happen only to get rid off the FSW a few days later.
Its tragic irony in a very Shakespearean way. Such an outlandish move. I think Digne would of thrived under Frank. Hopefully the new guy can adapt swiftly

Good morning all,
Hope you're all good, Sassy, hope the interview is a positive result I've no doubt whatsoever that you would have impressed them, so let's see what happens I'm sure the experience will give you confidence whatever the result.
Day off today, I am going to take my frail mum in law out shopping in Stirling for some hardware items.
Really looking forward to the Glasgow Derby tonight, I shall be watching it in the house with my youngest lad and we will be sharing a few beers.
Have a great day everyone.
I am also hoping for a positive result, LT. But even if I don't get the job this interview did help me gain confidence about my skills and I also learned a lot this weekend so I'm satisfied we the experience that I have gained.

I hope the shopping went well with your mum in law.

Forgot to add, my.mate is a lighting engineer and set up their 'Disco ' light show which entertains the crowd there, they know he's a Ger but look after him well on the couple of occasions he's been back to tweak things, they may well broadcast the light show tonight, it is quite spectacular. I hope we have a similar set up at BMD.
I can imagine search lights going off in the sky just as the siren starts. Night games would be magic.

Daughter phoned to say that her indoors has got a lovely single room in the hospital with en suite. Nurses are brilliant and she is being well looked after.
This is excellent news, I hope Mrs. M continues getting the best of care and that she returns home soon.

Bit of a drama at my house this afternoon. Came into the kitchen to find water all over the floor which seemed to be coming from the washing machine in the utility room. Well panic stages. What do I do?. Well, phone the neighbours of course. Luckily they were in and came around mob handed. Turns out the door seal was broken and I need a new washer. They're going to help me take the old washer down to the tip and said to give them a shout when the new one turns up and they'll come and plumb it in for me. In the meantime, the wife has taken my half finished washing to dry spin and return later. I suppose I am quite fortunate really. ;) But it looks like I've already used up my favour bank for the heating being off. lol
I wished I had your neighbours, you are really fortunate. You know that don't you. Not so fortunate about the water all over the floor but hopefully all that gets fixed

I have just watched youtube clips on Alli and VDB ,the thing that struck me was they are both about 10/12 mins long and there didn't seem to be any showing the same move/goal from 5 different angles ,they could be two great signings and have got me buzzing .Once Donny has been bitten he won't want to go back.
I'm excited about both signings, I think these two players may have the chance to have their careers reignited with us

@sass

You’ve got this Sassy, I had a cup of tea this morning, and the T leafs told me the job is yours;)
Duncan, I didn't realize you had such talent. Did you see anything else about me on that cup of tea ;)

Its tragic irony in a very Shakespearean way. Such an outlandish move. I think Digne would of thrived under Frank. Hopefully the new guy can adapt swiftly
I have noticed Everton has a lot in common with Shakespeare's tragic irony not just with Digne but with so many other outcomes. I also think he would have thrived and he would be an asset that didn't need to lose.

How are you, Curtis? I have been so busy lately that I haven't been able to check the mental health thread but it is great seeing you interacting with us on this thread.

Somehow, I didn't think you would be. lol
I see, another reason not to invite me on the cruise ;) lol

And yes, here I'm again with my multiquoting but at times I can't help it.
