Good morning mascoteers on the eve of something special I hope .I hope all slept well and have a great day .
I am buzzing about tomorrow ,I didn't think Benitez had had such an effect on me ,I knew I hated the fact he was our manager and I thought I would never come to terms with it but I it affected me deeply as far as football was concerned .
I had lost the love for the game .
But now we have a clean slate and if we remember these players started the season well I cannot see why they shouldn't do it again .
A win tomorrow and our Frank will get them going .
Back to bed I need a rest from all this excitement .

Just back in from my darts night out. I thought it was a Rotary event but it was The Round Table. They were a good set of lads though and mafe me welcome. The darts was crap but the company and the steak and chips were both excellent. A good night and I'm glad I went.

Glad you had a good night Fred. It will have done you good to get out. I spent last night watching crap darts on TV. Mr F wanted to watch the Masters. Sort of like a seniors tournament. Then fell asleep! God it was awful. Like watching old blokes in a pub.

The crowd at darts matches get right on my wick, Stand up if you love the darts over and over makes me want to put my foot right through the screen! Husband wanted to watch as he’s quite a fan, he used to play in local darts leagues. Even he got fed up with it and switched off.lol

I agree. I couldn't possibly go and watch one live. It would do my head in. My son's friends went to a Premier League one and said it was carnage. Loads of really drunk people, fights all over the place. I also hate the way they have started booing players for no apparent reason

What’s the booing about? They do it as soon as they announce certain players names. Think I’d end up starting a fight myself telling them to shut the [Poor language removed] up. Not very ladylike for woman of my advanced years.lol
 
Hello friends. I've got that Friday feeling! It's freezing but the sun is out. Really excited about Everton tomorrow. I've won my bet on Senegal reaching the AFCON final. If they win I'll get more. Not life changing. My £1 each way winnings won't fund the Aston Martin but a win is a win. lol Son is coming home for the weekend tonight. Dad seems to be OK. Brother's latest relationship appears not to be with a psycho. Just had a quick chat with other brother in Australia. It is his birthday today. Daughter is off today so has done the Tesco shopping. All is good.
Might indulge in some alcoholic beverages tonight.

Absolutely bucketed down overnight but a lovely day today. Sun is out and it's quite warm too, about 12 degrees but feels much warmer in the sun. Daffs are just blooming in the field behind us and there was also a couple of rabbits mooching about which I don't often see. Squirrels yes, but not rabbits.

Been out to do my supermarket shop so all set for next 10 days or so. got ingredients in to do a beef in red wine stew and also a lamb curry I like. Will also do another Thai red chicken curry as the last one was delicious. I'm going to try using a powdered coconut milk and see what it's like rather than the tins which are quite expensive. Tonight I'm cooking a spicy chicken fried rice. And yes, it is very very spicy. I marinade the chicken breast in a hot chilly bean sauce. I cook it off first, put it to one side, then add it back in to the fried rice at the end.

The heating engineers are coming this afternoon to sort out my heating and hot water so that's a relief. Hope you all have a good day.

@Methuselah. Has Mrs M had her op yet?. If so, hope everything went OK and she's recovering well. How long is she likely to be in hospital for.

@Terranian. Not heard from you since early yesterday morning mate. hope you're OK and the headaches aren't causing you too many problems.

Think Jazzy is flying back from the Caribbean today so hope you have a safe journey mate, and finally I hope Zassy is able to post again later today. Not sure if it's a 2 or 3 day ban she would have been issued with.
