Morning all. I really feel this is a new beginning. Like many have said I'm trying not to get too excited but it's hard. Hopefully we win and draw Middlesbrough at their ground so I can go to that one as well!

I've found a job to apply for on the Civil Service website. It would be working for the Ministry of Justice and a promotion. Only thing is I am absolutely rubbish at writing the behaviours where you basically have to sell yourself and say how great you are. I know I have all the experience required to do the job. It's an equality diversity and inclusion advisor which was my specialist subject as a Union Rep. Closing date is another two weeks so I'll have to get my act together and really think about how to present myself.

I am sure you will take them by storm ,if you just mention the brown knickers ,good luck with the job .

Just spotted the warning, seems a bit harsh when taken in context of the conversation. Hopefully @Sassy Colombian is just busy or taking some time out as it would be criminal to lose such a caring and valuable poster!

Off topic is just a short term ban, 2 or 3 days. The danger is that she may take exception to the treatment and decide to stay away from the forum. I don't think she will though.

Competency based interviews have the added pressure of knowing what you will likely be asked. There is a real art to them though, make yourself out to be the greatest thing since sliced bread while always deferring upwards if in doubt seems tried and tested.

Not a Civil Servant myself but I have helped a few mates through NICS interviews. Would be happy to help out Anj if you need a critical friend.
