Morning everyone ,

Strange start to the day. Our old boy Blue didn't have a great start to the day , he was very confused and unable to support himself for a while. We thought it might have been neurological but he seems ok now , perhaps he was just confused when he woke up and his back leg had gone to sleep. He really has slowed down a lot and is a big worry.

So , me and Mrs J took turns to sit with him and I had first dibs at the gym and shes there now.

We are battening down the hatches for the first of our 2 storms this week , fingers crossed it doesn't do too much damage.

I have a good feeling that Sassy will be back posting soon.

Thanks Anj. Sadly this has nothing to do with the original terms and conditions of the cruise when I booked it. These were special arrangements applicable, presumably because Cal died on board one of their ships. My issue with them is, having already informed me what my options were, they then changed them without notice.

I would actually love to join you and your gay friends on your October cruise. 4000 other Italians I'm not too sure about. lol

in that case I would go with the fact that you have relied on what they told you at the time, nobody told you different and this has now caused you detriment.

You've got until October to change your mind about the Italians!! There is another heterosexual couple coming with us. I don't exclusively hang out with gay blokes! ? ?

Hello all. That was the longest morning ever. I don't usually work Wednesdays but swapped my day off this week to Friday because I've got a hair appointment. Now I am in the over 60s I was thinking shampoo and set with a nice blue rinse a la Mrs Slocombe. I already have the pu**y to make inappropriate jokes about! Anyway I have been unable to get my arse into gear at all - because it's Wednesday. I don't work on Wednesdays. But you are today. Yeah but it's my day off. This is the conversation I've been having in my head all morning. So I've rewarded my lack of commitment with an extra long lunch. As you do.

Wild and windy here. We've got an amber weather warning from about 3pm today. Not a day for going out at all. But I am supposed to be at the gym at 5.30 so hopefully we'll get there. Tomorrow will be a whole month of healthy eating and proper exercise. Have to say I do feel better.

It's bad here mate. Going food shopping this afternoon too. Not looking forward to it.

I just did my immediate food shopping of baking potatoes for tonight- real comfort food for me.

It was really bad here the last half hour or so but the skies are actually starting to brighten a little. The TV did say it would worsen around 3pm onwards to be fair.
