Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

He's very sleepy. He ate his tea . We just take each day as it comes. He's 15 , if I'm honest I don't think we will have him for much longer.
So sorry to hear this Jazzy.

Wow, 15 is 105 in dog years isn't it? If it does turn out Blue's not going to be with you for much longer, it's clear to all of us he's been very much loved by you and your family, and you've made his life a happy one.

Survived the day in the office. It was actually quite good to see people in real life and also that a bit of flirting with the Facilities manager still gets you everywhere! I have new supplies - A4 pads, pens, new headset. All good. The weather seems OK here - we're just on a yellow warning for Eunice and I still think the Liverpool trip will be on - it all seems to have calmed down by Saturday. Take care @Barnfred 55 and @roydo . It looks awful where you are.

@jazzy I can only echo what @Bluetintedspecs said about Blue. If you haven't got him for much longer, he's definitely lived his best life with you. Hope you feel better BTS. And safe journey back to UK @fandjango . I'm off to the gym now. Oh joy!

Reminds me of a game my late wife and I used to play. The PBS network over here (Public Broadcast System in the US, but which we get in Canada), used to play all of those great British comedies of the 70s. We would wager on what colour Mrs. Slocombe's hair would be and whether she would say "pu**y". Winner got choice of position.

Thanks mate

Today was a good one for him.

Mate, as a dog lover and owner for nearly 50 years I really feel for you. The best advice I ever got from a vet is if the animal is struggling to get out of bed and, for a dog, is not wagging its tail, then the kindest thing is to let them off. I have three dogs at the moment, 2 GSDs and a loveable 14 year old mutt. The mutt is defying all veterinary science.

Over the years I have had to make the hard decision for dogs and cats.

I really wish you well mate.

Where I live has been moved from amber to red. So I've brought in some of the lighter garden furniture and moved the heavier stuff up against the fence.

Due to hit where I am around 6am so with a bit of luck I'll miss the first few hours.
