I vaguely iodine tablets being sent out by the govt in Ireland due to some down breeze from Chernobyl in the early 2000s.Apparently all iodine tablets in Finland are sold out .
Unfortunately it seem even miles away may not be enough if Blue who lives in Finland still has to worried about iodine tabletsPretty sure no one does. For miles around it.
Hahaha. She is so sweet that I have yet to see her act furious, but she has reasons to be mad. But at least the pain killers are keeping her lazy. As you can see ?Hello folks. Wooo hoo, it's Friday, I've just finished work, Liverpool trip tomorrow then another week to work before the Bilbao trip. @Sassy Colombian your kitty doesn't look sad, she looks absolutely furious with the cone of shame around her head. @larbert toffee glad you have tested negative and can go out, hope your wife is feeling better. @jazzy nice to hear Blue has been for a little walk out as well. Is he still visiting Granny for cuddles? @Barnfred 55 enjoy your kip - there's something lovely about an afternoon snooze. Mr F is currently snoring on the couch having finished work at 12.30 and had the hard task of going to the betting shop and finding his own way home. @Terrarian hope your headache has improved and @Methuselah hope all your hospital appointments go well.
The news is still very worrying and very sad. I've just been reading the story about the Ukranian border guards on Snake Island who told the Russian warship that demanded their surrender to go F*** itself. They were all killed. I also read the message from Everton's Mikolenko. Poor boy, he's 22, his parents are still in Ukraine. He must be worried sick.
I'm going to the gym in a few minutes. This has not been a good week. I was doing so well until I met my friends for lunch on Wednesday. There was cake, very rich, yummy delicious cheesecake. It all went downhill from there. I'm back on it today though but I know the upcoming weekend won't be good either so I'll just have to write this week off and move on.
Anyway off to don the Lycra, legwarmers and headband and pretend I'm Olivia Newton John! ? ? ? ? I wanna get physical. physical ?
Amazon next day delivery, best thing we bought, if we are comparing scarsI wish I had one of those. I may go and look one at the pet store later this afternoon. The vet suggested to use an old one from my daughter’s but it was too big for my Fresca and she rolled right out, so back to the satellite we went ?
I did manage to nod off for about 30 minutes shut eye. That's all I need of an afternoon and I literally do just fall asleep in the chair. I also regularly fall asleep in the bath. Cal used to say I could sleep on a clothes line. lolNight, night then. Xxx
I thought we were comparing shaves ?Amazon next day delivery, best thing we bought, if we are comparing scars
Our Noggsy ?
Anyway I need to go and unpack the new washing machine as Sammy, my neighbours daughter, is coming round tomorrow to plumb it in for me
My local village shop is supplied by the same butcher that supplies Rick Stein's chain of restaurants. He does a special blend of sausage for him (unsurprisingly called Rick Stein's) that he also sells to the general public. Given how much Rick Stein charges for breakfasts in his establishments one has to assume that said sausages are indeed posh.Grateful for your description of a posh sausage Barney. I’m guessing proper butcher bought and not supermarket for starters.
I still have ours. Long out of date by now. Might put them into an antiques auction in a few yearsI vaguely iodine tablets being sent out by the govt in Ireland due to some down breeze from Chernobyl in the early 2000s.
Scary shizzle that blue.

Households across the State will from this morning begin receiving packs of iodine tablets, to be taken in the event of a nuclear…www.irishtimes.com
He's heard of Fandjango? Wow.Very random comment this I accept. Had a house issue that needed sorted ASAP (minor oil spill). Much stress and anxiety as these things can be major.
House vibrated all day with drills as the Environmental team seemingly went to the centre of the Earth to assess potential impact.
Not over yet, long way to go but hopefully can avoid the interior of the house becoming a building site.
My point to make, to be stressed and have someone who knows what they are doing explain it in simple terms is priceless. No sugar coating, just facts.
A Polish lad and an Irish lad did the assessments and they were brilliant. I had a big pot of stew on and they joined me for lunch and it was easy conversation. Polish engineer particularly witty and he was telling me his dream is to become a guitar maker @fandjango
Trying to de-stress now ?
I'll still manage to xxx it up mate. Guarantee. Its 2 connections to the hot and cold water pipes ffs mate! Plus lobbing a tube down the drainage pipe, all of which will be exactly where the old machine was connected to!
Nice, a 30 minute kip is just perfect. I wish I could take a nap but I never been much of a snoozer after I’m up. The only time in my life that I took naps was when I was pregnant. If I’m sick and low energy I may do so too but it doesn’t happen often. My daughter is the same. We have too much energy.I did manage to nod off for about 30 minutes shut eye. Really enjoyed the walk. First time I've really been out properly for about 2 weeks with all the stormy weather we've been having. I walked to our parish church, which is a lovely old church (about 500 years old) that is on the cliffs near the mouth of the River Helford. I then went to a favourite spot on the coastal path where one way you are looking out to Falmouth sound and the Lizard peninsular, and the other way you're looking down the Helford River valley. I've taken a couple of photos that probably don't do it justice and I'll try and post them later.
Anyway I need to go and unpack the new washing machine as Sammy, my neighbours daughter, is coming round tomorrow to plumb it in for me. Who said I was sexist. lol Then i'm going to make myself a nice G&T before making tea.
Yeah she is to be fair. She was the one that found out what was wrong with my old washing machine when I flooded the place out a few weeks ago.Nice, a 30 minute kip is just perfect. You walk sounds lovely, especially when part of it is walking pass a 500 year old church. The architecture of some of them i simple exquisite. Here in the south of the US there is a church almost in every corner but some of them lack the splendor one can witness in some European churches.
Sammy sounds like a skilled gal!
