Some parts of our city are really filthy too, they have become more in recent years as we have gotten a lot of more indigenous people on the streets

I’m suffering at the thought that with my new job I’m not always going to watch the matches live any longer especially when they happen during the week, such as the one that’s happening on Thursday. But those are such as the sacrifices I knew I had to make if I took the full-time job.

I still can't get over yesterday's match.

I thought I was way beyond letting an Everton defeat ruin my weekend but I'm still fuming about last night.

Thought Frank had the team superbly well organised and disciplined , We matched the best team in Europe and were cheated out of a point. Corruption or incompetance , take your pick but for me the VAR decision was so bad that it reeks of corruption. I don't blame the ref because his view was blocked but how VAR could arrive at that decision is beyond bizarre.

I was delighted to see Cole's reaction at full time and Lampards post match interview. For too long we've been soft touches.

We are in a massive relegation fight , no doubt about that , but if we continue to play like we did yesterday we will be fine. Lampard will use yesterday's injustice to motivate the team.

After a 5 hour gardening day yesterday today is time for yoga and chilling. Carabao Cup Final Pftt , the RS or Russians. Can't believe I'm saying this but I don't want Chelski to win.

I haven't seen the game and I can't bare MOTD when we lose. But I do feel that our home form with the crowd behind us will get us through to safety and probably close to mid table. Leeds are also in absolute free fall. I'm confident that we will be OK.
 
Good morning everyone.

Another night of rough sleeping for me. Fresca keeps bumping against everything at night and keeps waking me up. Today we are supposed to get the new outfit from Amazon since the one we purchased locally didn’t fit her right. We will be driving to Charlotte today to visit my husband’s family. His grandma is at the hospital, she needs a bypass but at 97 she has refused to get one so this condition could deteriorate her heart and she could go sometime soon. Which to be honest I hope it happens soon. She has been very unhappy since she was put in a nursing home just before the pandemic. Then Covid began and she has been living almost in isolation from the family during this time and it has taken a toll on her. She wishes to leave this earth and has no desire to live any longer. So as much as I treasure life, I also understand her feelings.

Very rainy day for us today but we have been getting gorgeous weather for days so I can’t complain about the wetness. Plants and animals need their water too.

Have a beautiful Sunday everyone. And may my new underdog hurling teams win today :)

At 97 Sass I don't blame her for not wanting to undergo such a traumatic operation. TBH, I'm surprised that the medical people are even suggesting it.

We play very well. Like Jazzy mentioned, Frank had the right strategic plan against City. But we were robbed and it was plain corruption. It was a hand, the player was even looking at the ball. And there was no freaking offside either. The whole thing is a sham and Everton should never let that ref officiate any of our games again.
