That reminds me of another very interesting venue in the Wigan League.
Leigh Miners Social club. Right next door to the Rugby league ground. You'd swear you had walked onto the set of Phoenix Nights.
We had a game one evening and it the function room opposite was a wedding.
There was the biggest kick off / fight you've ever seen with 3 police wagons attending. Our opponents , the home side said it was a fairly routine occurance!

Bit of personal good news for a change. My cruise agents have just called to tell me that P&O have reversed their decision and have now agreed to give me a full refund on the cruise. They said the refund will be in cheque form and will take 2-3 weeks to come through. I'll take that, but I won't be putting P&O in charge of the UK Ukrainian visa platform any time soon.

All the nonsense making me a bit stir crazy instead of peaceful … woke up at 2 am today … been painting ever since …. Peaceful landscape … probably a wishful thinking expression
Tried to oust the picture … file too big … brain too distracted to shrink file
