Had to look that up lol did they really hang a monkey because they thought he was a french spy lol was the monkey chatter as they trailed him away to the gallows the sound of a frenchman pleading his innocence in french hahaha and you English call us Irish daft lol

Stayed off the booze but succumbed to a sausage butty for tea. Because I had a hangover I felt like a bit of stodge.
Will make amends by having a salad for lunch tomorrow.

Morning Messy and all. Hope you managed a peaceful sleep. I had a bit of a coughing episode when I first went to bed last night, and feared the worst given all the close personal contact I have had recently. But I had a good nights sleep and am fine this morning
Just about to get up and have a coffee and pastry. Have a shower, put some more washing on, then go for a walk and maybe meet up with some of Cals workmates.
Salmon fillet and salad for lunch followed by fruit, then have a look at some of the mountains of paperwork I have this afternoon.
Almost feel like this is day 1 of my new life. Not gonna lie but it made me cry writing that last bit.

Morning Fred, you are entitled to a few tears and crying is a great release, bottling up feelings can lead to all sorts of problems. Sorry if I sound a bit preachy I don’t mean to -anyway sermon over. Have a good day and meeting with Cal’s workmates, sure you will have plenty of lovely memories and stories to share. One step at a time, sorry I’m doing it again. lol?

And it still is.....I live just off Jct 61 of the A1. Three people were killed in an accident a few months ago when a lorry crossed the central reservation. Its a shocking road. Two lane dual carriageway with far too much traffic.

Morning Messy. How are you doing today. I'm back home. Left Liverpool when my brother set off for work at 7.30 this morning. Will probably be back on Sunday. Brother has to go to a trade fair which is a massive event for his company. We're not sure if Dad will be out of hospital so I'll either be on visiting duties or keeping an eye on him. We don't really want to leave him on his own when he first comes out.
Yesterday while on the way to visit Dad I saw a Just Eat delivery person using an e scooter as his mode of transport! I bet their takeaway was freezing when they got it.

@Barnfred Hope you are OK. This will be the tough times when everyone goes back to their daily lives and yours has been completely turned on it's head. Crying is good, better than keeping it all in. Sending hugs x

That’s great that you had a nice time with your mates, I was thinking yesterday of the many people that have wanted to see you and spent time with you these past few weeks and speaks very highly about how much you are loved.
A night of rest is needed at times, I’m sure it takes a lot os strength to do all these outings so enjoy the relaxation of being at home. Xx
