@messymascot As promised my dear Karl, here is a pic of my Spanish paella. Everyone was pleased with the results. Next time I am going to use a different chorizo and it will be even better. But for my first time it was still very yummy.

Glad to hear today is better for you. Any plans? Final live game of the season for me tonight as the loi season goes March to November, can't beat going to the game no matter what the level even if we have disgraced ourselves again. 4 years ago this time we won the double, relegated last year and about to finish 7th in a 10 team 1st division, and yet we still go week after week, football eh

In other news my tickets for Everton U21s v Hartlepool arrived. Papa John's Trophy. Looking forward to that on Nov 9th. Hopefully a positive outcome. Are you up to anything today or is it another quiet one?
Thought England were good in the T20 yesterday but they haven't really played anybody yet.

I was going to offer to lend you a spade but thought you were doing well enough on your own. ?

It is mostly the booze I need a break from. We usually drink a little over the recommended limit but rarely binge drink. Maybe averaging just under 2 drinks a day. But when I was in Liverpool I was practically binge drinking every day and that continued with my brother in law down here.

Decided I'm going to make a big to do list this morning and then prioritise it. Top of the list is definitely a shave?

I love a to do list! Feel like I've achieved something just by writing it. Never write a shopping list but always have a work to do list. Sad git that I am, I do get a buzz from crossing something off. 30 years as Civil Servant will do that to you! lol

Was working away on the basis that today was Friday, posted here on that basis, it was only when I dropped a message into the whatsapp group about the game tonight that someone came back and said it's tomorrow night. I wonder how far into the day I could have got thinking it's Friday?

I have no concept of days any more. Just have to arrange things for a 2/3 days in advance. I think it was wishful thinking on your behalf.

Yeah a female. All my male friends are in my WhatsApp group but other than that the rest are women I work with. I get on far better with them as they don't see me as a threat they see me as someone they can talk to. Apart from my main group of lads and the folk on here I don't have many male friends and I'm comfortable with that. I get called names for being like this but I don't care. I like who I like. If I'm talking to someone I judge them on their own merit.
