Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

First of 5 hospital appointments tomorrow, over the next 2 weeks. 4 at Ascot and 1 at Slough. Slough is the endoscopy which is on Sunday next. Son in law is taking me to that one. My two daughters share the load on the other four.
While hospital appointments are never fun, they are necessary to ensure you stay healthy and with us, hopefully for a long time. Best of luck with all your appointments @Methuselah

Lovely walk over to and up the coast nearly 2 1/2hrs and my legs are shot. finding it harder and harder to do long distances, which is crap as in good weather I like being out with Daisy. Having pain around my hip and pelvis so going to see the Dr I think as I seem to be deteriorating ffs.
I hope your hip and pelvis pain improves, T. Have you ever tried doing some yoga stretches to help you with your hip and pelvis issues?

Btw, Daisy looks like she always has so much fun on her walks

OK Rosie Report.

She was perfect on her 1st night.

She slept all night. After 5 minutes in her new basket she joined Tintin on the bed .

No mess , no crying.

This morning she is very playful and inquisitive and generally getting on Tintins nerves but that's what puppies do.

He will soon put her in her place! The only thing she hasn't adjusted to is stairs. We don't think she has ever seen them and has to be carried up and down them.

As I type Rosie is lying with her head on Tintins paws , so sweet.

Very cold today but promises to be be beautiful.

Back feels a bit better so after doing mum's weekly shopping I will do a gentle gym session.

Have a lovely day everyone.
Hope Rosie had another good night, and continues adjusting to her new family and house, especially the stairs. Given your back aches you want to make sure to train her to do such task. Or you could end end up like Norville carrying big Scooby Doo along with another back ache ;)

Good morning mascoteers on a beautiful morning in Finland ,had my head out of the news for a couple of days so as not to get too wound up.Taking some photos of stuff I want to clear from the garage today and put them for sale .Should be fun .Have a great day all and stay safe .
Morning Blue from a still decidedly dark Armagh.

Having a good clear out is always rewarding mentally I find. Any manual work is really, gives a certain satisfaction.

Here’s hoping you find an antique watch like Del Boy did in his garage ?

I haven't , maybe yoga or pilates might be helpful but wouldn't know where to start the discomfort has only started recently and only when I walk a distance but I get bad pains in my hips for a while I thought I had ilio band syndrome at one point, still might have the pain matches up.. Daisy just loves meeting people and animals lol if it has a pulse Daisy want to play with it, she's just a friendly little thing.

Morning all hope everyone is good today, weather looks good again today, did 7miles yesterday but haven't decided where we can go today yet.

How's the new addition settling in @jazzy ?

Morning all on what looks like being a good day again weather wise at least. We are back on the school run for grandkid no 1. today as Grandma who usually does it is currently waiting for an emergency ambulance - a 6 hour wait apparently :(. Good luck with the clear out @blue1948, a good clear out also means something else here @Armaghtoffee but can be equally rewarding lol. Hope you are able to get somewhere with the medical profession regarding your pain @Terrarian, meanwhile enjoy your walks with Daisy, it’s good to keep mobile if it’s possible. Good luck with all your appointments @Methuselah , it’s a lot to cope with all at once but at least you will be getting them over and done with, I will be thinking about you.Have a good day, all. ?

7 miles is good going. The beautiful scenery around you must help you clock that distance up.

Yeah it's not so bad for walks, the towns not up to much but the actual surrounding countryside and coastline is pretty decent. We used to do more than that quite regular but I'm not up to it anymore.

I'm going to take her up the quarry and fields today and might let her off, I let her off last week and she rolled on a dead carcass and stunk, when I let her off over the beach the other year she rolled in a huge dog plop, so I'm wary about letting her off as her recall isn't great if someone to play with comes into sight or if she catches a scent she's off lol

I’m definitely getting a sense that Daisy was put on this Earth to keep you on your toes ?
