I had a similar conversation with a consultant last year (although regarding a different part of the body) It is a terrifying thing to hear but in itself, it is not the end. I survived with the help of a fantastic team at the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle. Listen to the medics and do what they tell you to do. It’s easy to say but try not to worry too much. It solves nothing and robs you of the joy of living every day.

Such a wise words. You are indeed right, it was not the end for you nor it will be for @Methuselah as you advise, he needs to listen to his medics but we are also here for much needed support. We love you at @Methuselah and we’ll wishing for your recovery. Xxx
