I'm making meatloaf marinara today, I bought it the other month but ended up freezing it, fingers crossed it is nice, certainly smells good.

I thought Durham would be the same as Merseyside and at 60 I could have been swanning round on public transport!

Hello all. as you can tell by the number of 'posting while I should be working' comments today, I have not been at my most productive today. In fact really couldn't be arsed at all. Was very productive yesterday though and I still do 25% of my team's work on a regular basis ( there's 10 people in our team) and to be honest my boss takes the p*ss because he knows I'll just get on with it. So don't feel slightly guilty about slacking off every so often. I can't wait for next month when I've booked holidays off around Easter. Because I don't work on a Wednesday I can have 12 days off (including weekends) for 4 days holiday if I finish on the Tuesday before Easter.

Speaking of Easter, the weekend after Easter we are having a weekend in Newmarket. For Christmas I bought Mr F, who loves horse racing, a guided tour of Newmarket which involves a visit to the National Stud, watching the horses on the gallops, lunch and a visit to the National horseracing museum. This is all on the Saturday so we are travelling on Friday and coming back Sunday. He's dead excited about it. Booked us a nice hotel with spa too. I'm so good to him. Multiple wifeometer points! I'm just hoping to bump into the legend that is Mikey Holding who also loves horse racing, is big mates with Sir Michael Stoute and lives in Newmarket. I may be utterly speechless if that happens.

Think it's going to be a chicken curry for tea tonight. I'm going to try your pilau rice with it @Barnfred 55. We also have some naan bread too. I'm hungry already so time to hit the kitchen.
