BeautifulThere is a lot of rhododendron in our area. The peak bloom time for the sea of purple-magenta is usually mid June and it makes our mountains look so gorgeous.

How are Rosie and your Mum getting on? I bet they love each other already.Just back from the dog show.
Left Rosie with mum but given that the pup isn't properly house trained didn't want to leave her for too long.
So she does a poo in the courtyard when I brought her back. Whilst I am telling her what a good girl she is she does a pee in the kitchen!
Anyway switch on the TV to see that we are 1 nil down.
How good / bad were we in the 1st half?
Rosie is very loving and affectionate but a bit of a snatcher when it comes to food. Complete contrast to Tintin who has always been super gentle. How are Rosie and your Mum getting on? I bet they love each other already.
Sounds lovely. I really need to visit Cornwall again. It's just such a trek from here. Haven't been since the kids were little. It is a beautiful part of England.Well i didn't see that but it seems we were the architect of our own downfall again. Not going near the Everton forum for at least another week. Getting to be a bit of a habit.
Had a fantastic walk this morning, and glad i went this morning because it turned overcast in the afternoon. I walked down to the Helford via Carwinion woods, a wooded glen looked after by the National Trust. Absolutely beautiful walk and I don't know why I do it more often. I definitely will do this summer. The bluebells aren't quite out yet so I'll go again in about 3/4 weeks when the shrubbery in the adjacent Carwinion House gardens will also be out. I still took a couple of photo's today just to help sate Sassy's appetite, which I'll post a bit later.
But the sun was shining and the birds were singing which, combined with the sounds of running water from the stream, made for an extremely pleasant walk. The pooches were out in force too. Must have seen around 30, all off the lead and everyone of them impeccably behaved. Daisy and Rosie would have loved it. Anyway, not even our not so glorious team could dampen my spirits after that. Hope you all have a good day and not let the football get you down.
You and Mr F are always very welcome Anj. Lot's of spare beds. You can be the translator. lolSounds lovely. I really need to visit Cornwall again. It's just such a trek from here. Haven't been since the kids were little. It is a beautiful part of England.
What a love day you have had and good on you for not letting Everton dampen your spirits. Here the sun is also shining and starting to warm up so I’m ready to have a pleasant afternoon at my mom’s, I won’t let our Blues bring me down either.Well i didn't see that but it seems we were the architect of our own downfall again. It is okay, darling. It happens to me too but there are some ways to lower the size. Are you using your phone or computer to upload the pics? It's telling me the photos I'm trying to post are too big. Same as every other one I've posted so don't know why these are too big. Sorry Sass.
No and no?It is okay, darling. It happens to me too but there are some ways to lower the size. Are you using your phone or computer to upload the pics?
If using your phone when uploading the pic do you get an option like the one circled below?

If you you can click on it and you should be able to choose a lower size

You could take a screenshot of the actual picture and post that instead. Do you know how to take screenshots?
No better place than your area to enjoy it too Fred.Just looked out of the window and delighted to see the cows back in the field grazing. They've been indoors over the winter. Summer's on it's way.
Spectacular when in bloom. Lots of it where my wife came from in Tipperary. I remember well driving up the Vee after our engagement in 1991. However it is very invasive.Beautiful
