Oh my goodness. That was one seriously draining effort to watch. I'm back in love with Everton again but have to agree - much as I love DCL, he seems to have mentally checked out of Everton. Everton are such a rollercoaster to follow.

I've had a lovely afternoon. My daughter is baby sitting her friend's kids while her friend and her husband have a night away. She brought the kids over to see us this afternoon. So we were entertaining a 10 month old and a two and a half year old. We went to the park and then I went with my daughter to their house for a bit and discovered that as well as minding the kids, she is also in charge of two chihuahuas - Bailey and Buddy.

The kids are so sweet. The oldest one, a little boy, has autism and doesn't speak. He lets you know what he wants though.

Haven't won a bean on the Grand National but that's nothing new.

I was “working” at the expo earlier today and these two cutie of girls came to my table to grab some gifts and they made my day. Kids just have this sort of magic. Is your daughter getting baby fever yet?

Had a great trip out. Weather was fantastic. Sam's 2 dogs were delightful. And there were seals a plenty. Recharged the batteries.

her boyfriend has a 5 year old who he shares custody of, so she sees him quite a lot. If she ever does have children, she told me she would love to be a stay at home Mum. Having seen her in action today, she is so organised and capable she would be a great Mum.

Those blobs you can see on the beach are seals sunbathing. There must have been more than 50.

I know nothing at all about horses either. Based on today's performance. Relying on Blues tip in the last to break my duck for the day.

Mind you, I'll happily swap luck on the horses for today's result.

her boyfriend has a 5 year old who he shares custody of, so she sees him quite a lot. If she ever does have children, she told me she would love to be a stay at home Mum. Having seen her in action today, she is so organised and capable she would be a great Mum.

That’s a good way to keep the baby fever at bait. Being able to stay home with my daughter was the best decision my husband and I took even if I meant that for a while we only survived on his income, but it was so worth it so I understand her desire to do the same if she were to have kids of her own.

Were they loud? I remember driving down the California coast and hearing so much loud noise and once we stopped to figure out what was all the commotion, we realized it was seals.

amazing pics @Barnfred 55 . Seals are gorgeous. They have got lovely faces. I'm definitely going to sort a trip to Cornwall. Maybe next year. Your photos make me realise how much I liked it whenever I have been. Only been twice. Once to Mevagissy and once to a caravan park near Lizard Point

They were quiet as mice whilst they were just laying there sunbathing. A short while after that picture was taken though half of them decided they'd had enough sun and took to the sea. It was like a stampede and they were very noisy then. Love to see wild animals in their natural environment. Nothing better. Apart from Everton winning of course.

It was like a stampede and they were very noisy then. Love to see wild animals in their natural environment. Nothing better. Apart from Everton winning of course.

Me too, I love nature and witnessing wild animals. One of the best trips I have ever experienced was visiting National Parks out west, the amount of wild life we got to see was remarkable. Well except for the buffalo that chased us all the way to the van lol

Slightly down on the week. Up on day 1. Broke even day 2 and not a sausage day 3. Total reversal of last year when I got hammered on day 1 and day 2 until the last race when I got a 66-1 winner. Then battered it day 3.

Next up the Guineas at the end of the month.
