Spot on Jazz. North side of St Ives Bay.Looks like Bedruthan Steps Fred ?
Edit - should have seen the other photos first! No your too far south-west. That beach must be just north of Hayle.

Love the idea of a stairlift with 'step by step' instructions. lollolMorning all on this bright and sunny morning here in the hood. Quiet here in the Gwladys household after grandkids departed yesterday afternoon. They are off to Legoland later for a couple of days, so were all fired up for that. Well I spoke too. Have just had to rescue Blanche our neighbour who was stuck at the top of the stairs. She had a stairlift fitted last Monday and isn’t coping too well with operating it. Had written out step by step instructions which she has in her pocket and this seemed to be working well however this morning she had managed to get s shoe stuck underneath it, God knows how she did it, anyway we managed to retrieve it and she’s operational again - for the time being. Hannah took her joke book away with her, I asked to borrow it but Grandad said I couldn’t. I think he was sick of me saying “Oh this is a good one” Some of them were corny and right up my street. lol I’ll leave you with this one..
Q. What do you call a dog magician?
A. A Labracadabrador!
I thank you.
Have a great day, everyone ?
I also love Cornwall and Devon though haven't been for about 25 years, long overdue another visit, I'm drooling thinking of pasties?amazing pics @Barnfred 55 . Seals are gorgeous. They have got lovely faces. I'm definitely going to sort a trip to Cornwall. Maybe next year. Your photos make me realise how much I liked it whenever I have been. Only been twice. Once to Mevagissy and once to a caravan park near Lizard Point
Felt like we witnessed a combination of the two plus a massive slice of luck for a change with the deflection. My brain keep wondering if what I was witnessing us playing well, or United playing really bad lol
Good photos you posted Fred, gives you a feel for the place, I love the rugged beaches and smuggler's coves down there, I'm very much envious.View attachment 161963
Looking south towards St Ives and The Lands End peninsular.
What made that unusual was the number. Never seen that many together before. But the beach was quite a bit below us on the cliff and seeing them on land is not the same as seeing them in the water where they're in their element. You often see some of the younger seals when your swimming in that area and also around The Lizard area where there is another large colony of grey seals. The youngsters are very inquisitive and are quite happy to swim right up to you. It's amazing. That is amazing.
Port Oriel isn’t too far from me and guaranteed to see seals when the fishing boats are in. When working in Belfast I love a walk down past the SSE arena to seal spot. They are very therapeutic animals to watch, especially when peeping out of the water to get a good look at you.
Not being funny Sass but don't they prefer to be on their own. lolA couple of years ago we went to the beach and my daughter persuaded us to adopt not just a hermit crab but 3 of them so they could keep each other company. Within a week one of them died, the other two have been with us for almost two years and I have to honest hope that if there is such a thing as reincarnation I hope I never come back to life as a hermit crab as those creatures live a miserable boring life, at least the so called pet ones. We have tried to give them a good life but they spent 90% of the time sleeping or buried. Here is a pic of one of them.

No. She keeps them on the sidewalk lolWTF?
How do you adopt a crab? Do you have a sandpit or something?
Yeah. I used to love going up to the north coast with Cal. We'd just jump in the car and buy a pasty on the way to eat on the beach. It's much more quiet and sedate where I live. All wooded creeks and inlets. It's amazing the difference in topography between the north and south coasts.Good photos you posted Fred, gives you a feel for the place, I love the rugged beaches and smuggler's coves down there, I'm very much envious.
I've said before LT, I have an open house for any of my friends in here who want to visit Cornwall. I have loads of room and a spare key so you can come and go as you please. Or if you prefer, I could be your tour guide. Only problem is that you'll need a car.I also love Cornwall and Devon though haven't been for about 25 years, long overdue another visit, I'm drooling thinking of pasties?
Thank you Fred that's so nice of you but it's a little pipe dream at the moment. We're going to Lanzarote in a couple of weeks but we have so many arrangements to make in making sure my mum in law's care is covered by other members of the family and my good lady will probable worry about her while we're away.I've said before LT, I have an open house for any of my friends in here who want to visit Cornwall.
