Hello everybody. Hope you have all had a good day. The weather has been rubbish here today. rainy and cold. As others have said, interesting about Unsworth going. I have a feeling Big Dunc might be next out. He seems like a bit of a spare part under the new regime. Frank definitely wants his own crew. I also read somewhere that he was kept on specifically to work with DCL and that hasn't gone according to plan.

Nice tea Fred. I did a chicken noodle stir fry. Loads of healthy veg in it. I've also been to the gym so might have to go to bed soon! Have I told you I'm off until next Tuesday. Best feeling ever.

I am so bloody angry about Boris Johnson. He's got to resign. I'd say do the decent thing but there isn't a decent bone in his body. However this is not the place to unleash my feelings. so completely changing the subject- do any of you watch Derry Girls? I feel like I'm revisiting my schooldays with the nuns. It is so funny. New series started tonight.

Have a great day all .Today's project is to start power washing the paintwork on my garage . I have to try to get it done before the birds want to nest -it is still full of snow here .

Morning all, sunny this morning, looks like being another warm day. Good luck with the power washing @blue1948, have to say don’t envy you the snow in April although my granddaughters would love it. They hardly know what snow is. We had a thunderstorm last Friday evening and it snowed briefly. They were so disappointed when I had to explain it wouldn’t last until the morning .Enjoy your break @anjelikaferrett, and have a great day all . The snow is melting now but still quite thick and supports my weight . Beautiful sunshine and +7° so when it rains tomorrow it will " kill" the snow as the Finns say . Still waiting for the birches to cry ( When the sap rises it comes up so fast the tree cries out of the leaf buds ) which is drinkable and very popular ,a bit like maple syrup .

Afternoon all. I've been having a clear out this morning- mostly trying to tidy up a bookcase that was absolutely bulging. I hate throwing out books but some of them had to go. I'm not sure the Reader's Digest Atlas Of The World circa 1967 is of use to anybody. There were children's Science books that would be so out of date now - and quite possibly wrong that also had to go. I'm feeling quite proud of my re-arranging skills, we now have an Everton section, a cricket section, a Stephen King section, a Beatles section, a serial killers and other weirdos section. I also found a £1 note, a photo of my graduation (mature student Liverpool Poly 1991 - oh to be that skinny again!) and my stamp album that I got for my 9th birthday ( the date was written inside) I kept that. Who knows what hidden treasures could be inside it! lol I don't really think stamp collecting is a thing anymore is it?

Hope you are all having an enjoyable day. I'm now having a cuppa and looking at the trees at the end of our garden. Their leaves are starting to come out which I love to see.
