Hello everybody. Lovely day here. I've done the shopping, bought daughter's Easter gift - she requested 2 bags of compost for her ever expanding vegetable plantings. Son got a more traditional Easter egg when he came here a couple of weeks ago. Taking a leaf ( see what I did there lol ) out of
@roydo's book, I also bought some bedding plants and made a couple of hanging baskets. A very nice morning all in all.
Haven't got any plans for Easter. This time of year always reminds me of my late Mum. I could guarantee that every Good Friday she would ring me and after some fairly trivial conversation would casually throw in "what are you having for tea?" Fish was the only acceptable answer. ? As I've told you before I'm a pretty rubbish Catholic these days but I cannot, and never will be able to eat meat on Good Friday. I genuinely think I would get struck by lightning! It is amazing what sticks with you.
