Good morning all. Mr F slightly better. I now have a free day. I was going g to go to my Dad's older brother's funeral in Chesterfield. Although I'm negative so far I didn't want to chance it - his surviving partner is 93- it wouldn't be a good look if I accidentally killed her off! I hadn't seen him since my Mum's funeral in 2017 although he and my Dad used to have a lot of email exchanges about all kinds of things.
So what to do today? I'm feeling a trip to Costco is coming

What a day! Still no Gertie the kitten. Left plenty of time for a normally 3 1/2 hour trip to Edinburgh airport , a bad accident on the Forth Bridge held us up for nearly 2 hours missed flight bag closure by 20 minutes, spentvafternoon trying to get alternatives to Amsterdam but theyn where booking up as I found them , even for tomorrow. A fraught afternoon, Mrs bl suggested Inverness , I managed to sort a 630 am flight tomorrow tobAmsterdam then train to Rotterdam etc , so drove to hotel at Inverness airport . 380 mile round trip , ended up 50 miles from home , knackered and an early start so night night everyone!

Good morning all on the misty day here in Hyvinkää .I hope all are well and had a good night's sleep. The beer price seems just a little more than the price here but not a lot ,I think the schooner is half a litre or .88 of a pint of course at that price it would seem like two thirds !
Certainly has been a memorable trip for our own bounder ,chased by an Asian woman ,missed covid by a hair of the dog and now protected from the world's most beautiful women by a bouncer who lives on a boat . Here to hoping it continues . Now @jazzy this word puzzle that is still up in the air? Which reminds me we haven't seen our own @peteblue ,I hope all is well in the pub and with his family.
It occured to me yesterday when one of the reporters mention some of the players that I didn't recognise one of our signings ,it had just not been digested by my brain such is my lack of interest and expectation this season COYB

Another wet day here.

Housework beckons , such fun .

Rosie's already been naughty and chewed half the foam in her bed. Tintin just looks at her like she's nuts.

Looks like it's just going to be one of those days and don't even get me started on Everton.

Can't be long before Fred and his cutting crew will be arriving in Liverpool for their last port of call. Havoc will be wrecked.

Let's hope that @blueloon and Mrs BL made it to Holland. Such a shame that their weekend away started in such bizarre fashion.
