Before today it would have been a close decision but I thought Keane was excellent today, I voted him MOTM in the poll, so he gets my vote. Don't get me wrong, he's still not good enough, but in a low block he's a better option than Coady.

Keane plays a beautiful long ball when he’s on song.
Can play them with his weak foot too. I do think he gets caught in a panic under pressure sometimes but that happens a lot to defenders that look for the pass as opposed to just clobbering it out.

You play deep and keep the options simple, Keane. He got in England squad under anchelotti. Coady, best back up in bottom half of prem. Mina, better than both but can't be trusted. Let mina go, pay 2mul for coady, let Holgate go get psv guy back. Got Godfrey, think myloko will turn into a 8-12th prem defensive left back in time, need a pro right back going forward. Coleman been sooo much better thus year than I expected. With pickford mid table prem defensive team.
Boring and lower mid table next year *at best. But we need to work on top 3rd and the defense is good enough for prem. Currently forward isn't so spend money there (would literally spend 100% on forward). A Madrid always did, then sold, became top team dojnv that.

I just can’t bring myself to vote for the piece of fattened cattle that has been the rotting core of numerous crap Everton teams before this one.

The second he’s in danger of being shown the exit door he actually bothers to get himself fit and play anything like resembling a premier league footballer. How many times do Everton fans need to see that trick before they stop getting fooled by it.

Even today despite a pretty decent performance there’s still a curved ball down the line into the channel that he completely just runs under and missed the bounce on the ball. Fortunately Tarkowski who can actually deal with the football outside of the 6 yard box had read that he was going to cock up and was right behind him. Maybe that’s why it worked well at Burnley if Tarks is just expecting him to mess up every time. It’s all fun and games until he’s doing that at a top 6 ground and they punish us and the games over.

Get Keane out, let Doucoure go, let Davies go, phase Coleman out (who I’ll admit has been far better this season than I expected), let Gueye go, let Iwobi go.

They’ll all play up for new deals or to avoid the transfer window cull. Then they’ll all slump right back to slacking off with their deck chairs out (Coleman aside who has an excellent mentality but just can’t play every game at the top pace and can’t cross a ball)

Our two best CBs are Tarkowski and Mina. If looks like Mina is finished at the club though so I’d like to see Tarkowski with one of Godfrey or Holgate until we can get Branthwaite back next season.

I would play Godfrey at LB. I don’t think both will make it at CB. Not tall and physically dominant enough.

Keane was good yesterday and is a threat at corners, etc

It was Keane who made Doucoure's goal at Forest and who nearly netted yesterday.

I take Keane over Coady, save some money and would slowly introduce Braithwaite next season. Godfrey and Holgate
can't head that round thing very well and although much quicker are not physical enough, I reckon,
for Dyche.

Dyche will keep Tarkowski and Keane with Branthwaite and Godfrey as back-up next season.

Mina will be gone with his contract expired. Holgate will be sold and I doubt we will sign Coady on perm if Keane stays in the side.

Coady needed dropping and I was gobsmacked he went for Keane over Mina or Godfrey. However he's played well and deserves to stay in the team

Really? I expected him to pick Keane given his history with him. Dyche will want a settled centre half partnership and you’ll never get that with Mina

I'd prefer to be able to say neither, but, Coady has been dire since the world cup and Keane, at least for now, is looking fairly solid. The problem with Keane is, you're always expecting him to get rinsed because of his tugboat turn. I just hope, should we stay up, that Dyche goes with Tarkowski and Branthwaite as his first choice pair next season.

One decent game in 3 seasons and Michael is Barasi.

Coady's been here 5 mins and is by far the better defender. Had 2 poor games.

Another season with Keane starting IMO keeps us down the foot of the league
