Multiple mistakes led to that goal. Keane is the single scapegoat, as he is closest to the goalscorer. He played pretty well overall (ESPN rated him 7/10, with Holgate 6/10, Jags 4/10), I expect him to keep his place for the next game, probably with either Zouma or Mina as partner.

His foot skills are pretty underrated, but he just lacks anticipation and takes forever to turn. He's pretty fast once he gets moving, but some of those balls they are playing into space behind him he should get. He did okay off set pieces early and almost knocked a couple of them in, although we already know Mina can do that.

He's just not quite good enough, simple as that. That being said, Baines seemed either banged up or a bit ineffective in closing down players on his side, which exposed Keane a bit.

Terrible performance, especially second half. Next week hopefuly Zouma - Holgate

You know what worried me the most?

In the presser Silva said Holgate or Zouma could replace Jags for today's game not they could both play.

Is Keane a favourite of his :(

Quoted also as saying Zouma hasnt had any preseason games so hes easing him in

I fear Holgate and Zouma will fight it out for one spot till Mina is fit. Quite scared how Keane is guaranteed 1 of the 2 spots at the minute.
