Always needs his hand held, even his good performances last season come with having Zouma do much of the work that allows Keane to merely worry about playing as a very conventional CB. I've seen more leadership, willingness to take responsibility on the ball, positional awareness, more strenth, more aerial presence and better reading of the game from Holgate in the last 4 games than I have for much of Keane's Everton career.

Makes me laugh when people put about 10 players on the out the door list for Jan.

We literally had Niasse and Martina on the bench the other day, thats how few players we had.

We obviously need to strengthen at the same time but I'm witg people on keane though. He should be the very first out the door. He costs us goals everytime he plays. As soon as a CB is signed we shouldn't be doing everything to offload this big fairy

I think every player starts with a clean slate when a new manager comes in.
I would guess that Moise Kean was happy to see leave and Ancelotti arrive, I think Gylfi Sigurdsson may be nervous that a new manager might not have the faith in him that the old manager seemed to have.

Michael Keane was good last season but very poor this season, I think our midfield for different reasons just has not been good this season and that impacts on our defence.
I am not sure there is a single defender who has had a good season so far this year.

There might not be a single defender who has had a good season so far, but Michael Keane is the only defender who has the rest of the defence a nervous wreck, not to mention 30,000 fans in the ground.
 
This guy is a nervous wreck and bringing a new coach won't change that he needs to change it himself, He panics and overthinks things and rushes to a brainless decision under any kind of pressure, He's tailor made for basic teams who just hoof it to row z when they sense any kind of danger.

Wouldn’t agree with the bit in bold either, he had a good final 9 or 10 games the rest of the season before that he was awful

It’s genuinely weird the way 90% of last season has been erased from people’s memories. This time last year he was playing appallingly, the runaround he got against Spurs was truly something to behold.

People came up with the name Mick Kegger and got a classic Everton hard on for his sorrow story of playing with an injured foot which made them totally ignore the fact that he was still playing crap and isn’t close to being a competent footballer.
