He is our best centre half...

If you discount Tarkowski, Braithwaite, Godfrey, Coleman...all the defenders in the under 21's and younger. Dyche, Ian Snodin, those metal shapes used for free kick practice. The old lady that used to give the tours around Goodison.

Just not working long enough for Everton with his inclusion, he can and has had good games which is why he doesn’t deserve half the stick he gets but he just seems to be the catalyst for the team to collectively have a stinker, the club‘s Jonah. The defence and keeper today were at sixes and sevens for the first time I can remember for an while and Michael is right there in the middle, at the heart of it all.
If he chewed gum he’d be a Jonah with an attitude problem, he doesn’t so he’s just a Jonah.

Second goal sums him up - hwang makes an arching run all in his eyeline and he doesn’t anticipate the danger - with the amount of experience he’s got it’s not good enough. Nice guy but should only be playing when there is no-one else available

Doesn't half get some stick on here. He didn't pick the team today. We all know his faults...highlighting them every week does no-one any favours.

Try him up front. He has an eye for a goal and the further away he is from our penalty area the better.

Makes every player in the team worse, at everything they do on the pitch.

They all become Indecisive, nervous and weak, just like Keane.

The manager shouldn’t be playing him - simple as that. If he is wants a 3 cb system use Godfrey.
