2024/25 Michael Keane

As I said a couple of weeks ago. He is the ultimate confidence booster for the opposition. You know you’re never down and out in a game as long as he is on the pitch.

He’s the worst player we’ve ever had in terms of the overall negative effect he has on a game of football for his own team.
If you were a striker you'd be made up playing against him. A one paced centre half who lets the smallest of mistakes get to him. An embarrassment.

Thought that Michael Keane did okay today but once again was let down by the rest of our defence and Pickford. They need to do their part, Keane can't be expected to carry the lot of them.
He was out jumped for their first goal and his attempt was powder puff. Their equaliser was fortuitous in that it landed in the striker's path. However, Keane had lost his man by 2 metres. Poor.

Not his fault he is Championship level at best. Everton’s fault for employing him, It beggars belief he has been here that long. Even more that he is selected in the starting line-up. What is it that they see when the rest of us are silently screaming in our own heads when we see him on the team sheet?

I feel for the guy if he’s suffering from mental health and confidence issues. He needs to be taken out of the spotlight,. He gets paid well, it’s turned sour, and for a few years it has, yet the manager seems to think it’s still ok to play him. I am sure both the supporters and Keane would rather he didn’t play.
