I can't believe his level of play. When he first got here he showed more than just a glimpse that he had something.
I don't know what's going on with him. I hope that a decent manager gets a grip of him and turns the lad around for his own sake. I can see him rocking up at Burnley again- perhaps he just needs one clear way of playing and no complications to thrive like he had under Dyche?

Don’t know if this has been mentioned, but he looked really uncomfortable on the left to me. I am pretty sure he has played most of his career on the right of a two, where as Williams has often been used on the left so why switch? Combined with Martina’s inability to use his left foot, it is no wonder Burnley targeted that area.

This is so deluded it’s almost admirable. I wish I had this level of blind faith in an utter incompetent. The turning circle or an oil tanker combined with a brain that Baldrick would pity and a weaker mentality than Theresa May in a Brexit negotiation. Write off the loss and beg Burnley for half the fee we paid for him
I think both with him and DCL there’s an argument that they might be quick in a 100m sprint, but that doesn’t really matter in a game of football. You need to be quick out of the blocks and intelligent in your starting position, otherwise your raw pace counts for nothing. If people don’t think you look quick, you’re doing something wrong. Good players look faster than they are, poor ones look slower.
For me, Keane isn’t even quick in a straight line. I think even having been done by the initial movement today, the likes of yobo, Distin, peak jagielka would have got back quick enough to make a tackle, but Keane couldn’t. He’s just not got it as far as i’m Concerned, he’s way out of his depth.
Perhaps it was Mee who was the defender from Burnley that we needed?
