Michael Keane’s agent has confirmed that his client is hoping to conclude a transfer to a ‘new destination’ by the weekend..

And Jamie Moralee also believes the Burnley defender can be the best centre-back in Europe..

“Obviously there’s a lot of speculation, a lot of interest, in Michael and rightly so,” Moralee told the TalkSport.

“We are hoping that we can get a deal concluded to a new destination maybe by the weekend and the key to it all, for Michael, is he wants to continue to learn and develop.

“Finding a home where they have got aspirations and ambitions to move on as a football club, where he plays, is key in his development.

“We feel that we have found the right fit and hopefully things can progress over the weekend and he can be unveiled very shortly.

“There’s no point him now getting that move and then sitting on the bench and sitting in the stands.

He needs to continue and I think if he continues in the same vain, in the next two years as he has done, he will be England and Europe’s number one centre-half.

Has all the attributes for a CB but then you realise that for his size he is weak , doesnt read the game and loses concentration

Also apart from Holgate, every one of our centre halves form this season has dropped off a cliff.

In the ideal world, he probably would be on the bench.

Surely Holgate has got come back in now !

The manager claims to be forward thinking an innovator with a ground breaking analaytical back room staff when in reality just like koeman he is a complete fraud.

Picked on the youngester for the first sub yesterday then the new foreigner for the next.

It’s almost like the subs were predetermined before the game.

His confidence looks shot. Needs taking out of the firing line, still think there is a decent player in there somewhere just think his injury and the deep issues in the team haven't helped him but he was bad yesterday, ok at Watford. Jags and Holgate next game for me.

We've never lost a game that Holgate has started at CB, he's been comfortably our best CB this season aswell.


Keane should be nowhere near the side anyway

He has been our best CB this season, has pace which means we can play higher up the pitch. Yes he's young and makes the odd mistake but I am baffled why he was ever dropped. First goal yesterday he cuts that ball off with his pace.

Keane and Williams on the other hand are pros who have been shocking

I'd bring in Holgate at this point mate. Him and Jags maybe.
Keane isn't playing well enough.
My point was just that Holgate has been poor too. The reason he hasn't been recently is simply because he's not played.
We are in desperate need for new CBs.
My only desire is that Williams is dropped.
