I’m beginning to wonder if he’s just poor. CB is the easiest of all positions to play on the pitch, certainly for reading the game it is, everything happens in front of you.
That ball he got skinned for on Saturday was obvious and should have been his, I cant believe a pro centre back could not see it coming.

It's been said before but some of the things he does you can't really put down to low confidence or being out of form. A little bit of movement is enough to lose him, he's not strong in the tackle and gets beaten in the air by anybody running across him. The best CB's are equal parts reactive and pro active, I'm not sure Keane fits in to either category. Looks like he needs to be sat deep with lots of protection.

Reckon Keane could be the best signing of the summer, looks the real deal

Delighted. With him and Pickford; leading the league in clean sheets may be a reasonable goal. Keep developing lad. Nothing but support for you.

We need his clone ASAP

this lad would bleed for us.

Cor what a player. What a man.

He's a player him. Very good defender.

Has a commanding presence about him. I'm already very comfortable with him in the back.

He's gonna be a blue legend.

He is everything we all thought Johnny Bones Stones was going to be and more.

Perfect little baby Jagielka. Neck us Mike.

Little did we all know how things would turn out...

Some people take themselves too seriously.
Relax my man and enjoy Rylan.

We all nail our colours to the mast about players. I was sure after watching Klaassen on YouTube he was going to be a pass and move god. Turns out he's a slug.
Last time I'm gonna say this.
Relax and have a strawberry jam sarnie

Peace and love bro. X

He'll come good once he can settle alongside a top CB. He's had to chop and change game after game with Williams and Jags who are both finished. He's also had largely a young kid next to him at RB to compound matters for him.

Give him a chance next season.

After his Burnley performance last Saturday I thought he was shocking and clearly not good enough for us. However he has had some good performances for everton and does deserve a chance. I also remember him playing well for England.
Although I do think it is most likely he will flop, let's stick with him and give him a chance as he may still turn good
Time is on his side

Little did we all know how things would turn out...

Little did we know? I've just read about 100 posts about how great Keane is and will be the next Brian Labone. Yes it's easy
in hindsight to take the mick, but there were a few of us who said he was a crab after 2 weeks, same with Stones.
For Christs sake get Hoddle to manage us, make us proud again.

He's got the potential to be a good defender but needs someone stronger to play alongside. He's playing with Williams who, in my opinion, has been one of the worst centre halves to put on a shirt in the last 15 - 20 years. He needs to establish a decent relationship with someone like Holgate and become the leader and the voice. They need to play regularly together to form a solid partnership. Our problem is BFS and RK didn't have a preferred centre back pairing and so chopped and changed. That's never going to win you games and keep clean sheets.

He can't play with Williams. He had a poor game but watching that first goal back - Keane is done for pace by a Sunday League striker Williams makes absolutely no attempt to help or cover. Keane can still come good if given the right partner at CB, Williams on the otherhand should never be allowed to wear the blue shirt again.

Keane has been woeful this season but he has come into a team whose defence is gone apart from Coleman who has been missing most of the season.

It's hardly his fault on his own so my point was if we give Keane the responsibility of being our first choice centre back and give him the chance to step up next to Funes Mori or Holgate, we can then judge him.

I remember Jagelka being the worst thing that every happened for half a season and Baines couldn't shift Lescott from his 2nd choice position.

Yes he has been crap but he has all the attributes to be better and I hope he does because Jagelka and Williams as a pairing is relegation fodder!

If he plays next to Funes Mori against Brighton = CLEAN SHEET
