It's getting so bad with this lad that we're nearly at the stage where we might have to consider cutting our losses, if we haven't reached that point already. His ability in aerial duels is poor, he can't track runs from top quality players in behind and he seems to have a major character defficiency. Getting beat in the air by one of those Ayew brothers from a long high ball is unforgivable.

When the only thing we work on is long balls, this is unacceptable.

He looks like the proverbial rabbit caught in the headlights.
He shown flashes of promise to prove he might cut the mustard but I'm prepared to give him the luxury of this season due to the constant swapping of his partners.
Fair to say I'm not truly impressed at the moment

With a proper leader next to him I still think he can come good.
Says it all that he's looked miles better next to jags so imagine a cb version of Coleman next to him.
Wouldn't mind a back three of him, Mori and someone like mawson or de vrij

He’s a £30m England international wannabe, but he’s that crap he needs someone to tell him what to do and how to do it

I’d expect that of a 19 year old

My biggest worry is he appears mentally fragile which for a centre half is not a good trait, playing at the back you will have to deal with adversity and he just wilts under pressure.

I think a new manager may cut their losses with him, IF we get Fonseca then the CB needs to be very confident on the ball and be able to start attacking moves, everything which Keane is not.

Burnley had a good central defence pairing, maybe Walsh found Tarkowski too difficult to spell in his scounting report.(If he ever did one)

If Ivan Ordets can feature for Fonseca, not sure why Keane can’t. I don’t like Keane and didn’t like buying him to begin with, but who knows how he’d be in a better coached and organized side.

I know what you are saying but Ordets is not frightened of the actual football that's the difference, like you say maybe it just needs a better coach to just instil some proper confidence in the lad and he might get better (hopefully)
