If Ivan Ordets can feature for Fonseca, not sure why Keane can’t. I don’t like Keane and didn’t like buying him to begin with, but who knows how he’d be in a better coached and organized side.

..I doubt he can make a players become fast and mobile. Saying that, some of the basic tactical errors like getting tight to speedy forwards who can easily turn him is something he should’ve figured out for himself at this point.

I don't even do this in my 7-a-side league.

What might have been

Summer 2017
McGuire or Keane

We get Keane

BBC gossip -man city, Man U, Spurs & arsenal interested in swooping for McGuire

Keane .....

Whoops

He got to do things simple. Just clear it away or hoof it to the touchline when under pressure. Not trying to control it and do something stupid.

He looks like the greatest cb when he’s up against a static lump, as soon as someone starts moving he can’t handle it. His reading of a players movement off the ball is atrocious

Think he could still be decent with a proper coach in his ear

He's so easy to run off. I thought he was very lucky to stay on tbh, I think Gayle would have got the ball in down our left hand side for the second one which would have given him the opportunity to run at us. If we were the away side he'd have been given his marching orders.

He couldn’t handle movement at Burnley, they sat so deep everything was in front of him. Playing 10 yards further forward has shown up some major flaws, highlights why the bigger clubs were very hesitant

But he was decent at Burnley so I’m giving him a seasons grace, same with a lot of our players for me with a few exceptions. His pace is clearly an issue.
