In summary, he's a player who's shown that he's of above average ability in his area of expertise. That's how you get picked for your country.

I don't think he'll be leaving Everton in the near future, and I've no doubt, well, not much doubt that he'll soon show us his real ability.

Oh, I'm not questioning your opinion that we overpaid for some of the players we bought, but who hasn't?

Do many burnley players get selected though? Genuinely don't watch England often so I'm unsure

He's a young guy and probably hoped he'd learn more about his trade from Koeman as time went on. Instead of that he's stepped into a nightmare.

We should try and get in one or two of his former team mates to settle him down. That Tarkowski looks as though he doesn't worry about things too much.
 
He didn't just lose the ability he had overnight, he just needs someone a bit more reliable and quicker beside him and then the team shaped so that the ball isn't constantly coming back in to the danger area.

If we can get to the point were we keep a few clean sheets or only concede 2 goals across 3 matches say, then I think everybody will start to feel better and in turn they will start individually improving from there.
