I hate seeing him and Williams in the starting line-up together. I just automatically fear the worst.

Definitely something off with him though. There has been stories about infected injuries and today he went off with dizziness?? Doesn't help that he looks like a particularly wet extra from a particularly wet Richard Curtis film.

It's not about how many defensive players you have, it's how much space they allow. Burnley allowed very little space as they have a manager who is a specialist in defending. They were compact, tight, a unit. The lack of space Burnley afforded to the opposition covered up the fact Keane cannot move. Over five to ten yards he is hopeless (not much better over longer distances either). Forwards skin him over short bursts. I've not seen a player get so easily turned and left for dead like him for years.

he needs a reg partner and a reg formation, he's had holgate/williams/jags 3 different managers and ever changing tactics

I cant believe some of the comments on here. The guy is guaranteed to cost us at least a goal a game from a howler. Whether it is confidence or just because hes crap, either way i don’t see him being in the team for years to come on the displays he’s given this season. He doesnt have the odd bad game, every game he is bad!

Koeman bought another mentally weak and fragile player.

For all John Stone's faults, turning round to shush the park end showed mentally he could cope. Something I can't see with Keane.

All the top teams in the league play a high line,and not one of those teams were in for him because of his lack of pace,hell even Van Gaal got rid of him because he could not play in his high line system.

He did well at Burnley because he defended his own 18 yard line and played for such a low block defensive team it made him look good,look at the average Tarkowski at Burnley now and how good he looks having replaced Keane in such a defensive system under Dyche.

Again we over paid for him,no one else was after him and to pay 25 million when he has a year left on his contract is criminal by Steve Walsh,especially as Koeman never played a low block.

Steve Walsh do the honourable thing and resign.

And also played in a high line. Also kept Vardy quiet.
The part of the pitch that requires the most organisation and co-ordination, and we keep chopping and changing. We are out of every competetion and we are fighting for league safety. Play your best, long term defence every week. If they do well, keep them in. (Unless your name is Samuel, then you know you've got a fat payoff from a job you can bumble through and retire in the summer after your sacking)

I am baffled by five at the back and it's literally a flat back five and Mangala how many sessions has he had?Looked like Fat Sam threw this game and the players knew it.
