People realise we're 11th in the leauge right? We're over half way through a season, desperate for a striker, struggling to score goals and having to rely on tosun, dcl and niasse.

We're looking at a striker who has won the premier league and scored the winner for it. Scored goals in France, England and Germany. Plays regularly for his national side. Fits our style for relatively little out lay and at the very worst would improve our squad.

People are turning their noses up at him? Who can we get? Who would come who's better?

Is he a world beater? No of course not. If he was he wouldn't be coming here. Sometimes it isn't about buying the best players sometimes it's about buying the player that fits and batshuayi will fit silvas style.

Niasse more likely to Cardiff now as they got rejected by their striker target despite Warnock trying to personally close the deal. Cardiff are also shipping people out (Madine and Pilkington this week) presumably to free up space and wages

.....it’s lots to do with managers opinion as well as being in the right place at the right time. Sometimes it just doesn’t work out for a player at a particular club.

First two replies have me convinced ha ,when your watching Tosun and Niasse and can be so picky with Batsuayi is baffling for me

I know I'm repeating myself on this topic but as well as being Lukaku v.2 he was too good for us in his head when we went after him before joining Chelsea.

Is he a better option than what we currently have ? Of course. That's the whole purpose of becoming a better team. Get him in.
