I'll warm up to him if he scores lots of goals. Hopefully big goals, that make a difference to a result. Not when we are getting hammered and score a late one. Or when we are already 3 up. If he scores say 10 and they get us a win or a draw, then they make a difference.

But the stats I've just checked have his mins per goal in the Premier League as 151. Not bad really, if accurate. I'm not double checking them...

I looked at Wikipedia so mine may be wrong. Either way he is likely to be much cheaper than Broja and, similar to Gueye, would do as a stop-gap squad player.

I don't think we can afford Broja and see that option on loan only if there are no buyers late in the window. Can see why we would be in for Batshuayi. Either way it will be late before we add a forward option now. They need to ensure we have someone and with all things considered we could do worse here.
