Boro are a big pyschical team, they had a game plan and it worked,we never really got going, though I would have left Barkley on as that seemed the most probable outlet for a breaktheough

We weren't 'lucky' at all.

Didn't play well, in a tough game in tough conditions.

But we should have scored three. Three bad finishes and three good saves really.

Robles and Baines did well to stop them from scoring.

Fair result. Cancelled each other out. We set-up wrong really.

We move on.

RK: "It's a fair result for both teams. The weather made it tough conditions. We had two or three really good chances to score."

Ronny here, knowing stuff

A bit disappointed with a point after missing some of those chances but great save from Robles at the end so probably a fair result.Better than losing.

..can't knock Boro for that display. They are fighting for their lives and looked more likely in the 2nd half. Until we find the key to create we won't get to the next level. Creativity leads to chances, chances leads to goals.

Poor today. Definitely should have looked to win that with something to spare.

I thought it was slow and lethargic all over the park. Ross seemed to hold on to it for too long, and Davies didn't seem to be able to get into his grove. Gana was poor on the ball.

They should have been looking to get Lookman on the ball more, to attack their full back.

Ah well.

Oh well, that's how it goes sometimes... on another day Lookman scores two or three. It's not like we suffered an embarrassing defeat; we end up with a point away from home and continue our nice undefeated run.

Top marks to Robles for his brilliant save. Good to see him settling in and gaining confidence with every game.

18 points out of the last 24 is good going. We are probably talking 65 to 68 points by the end of the season. Probably not enough to get 6th place but just might be enough to get a Europa Cup place.
There is no doubt that Koeman has made improvements to the squad in terms of results and we now have young players playing.
I think this shows that we have moved on, but if Kidman is given more money in the summer we can certainly make it into the top six next season.

Highlights of the game will not take up too much time. Good saves by both keepers, and that is it. Not a great spectacle, but a good point in a horrible environment.
To all those brave travelling supporters, drive safe, DM's Sunderland next, at a cosy, warm and sunny Goodison:cool:

Thing to take from today is a reminder that RK still has a lot of work to do improving the squad.
The good run has helped us forget how poor we have been previous to January!
