Its a different game these days though. The squad Walker had could have done better, a lot of the league was pretty much average then with a sprinkling of good sides.

Put it another way, Walkers team went on to win an trophy in the same season that he got sacked. The next year they finished 6th with a couple of good additions so the ability was there.

Can you see this lot we have got winning anything any time soon?
