It's a legitimate question mate. However it's evident that his two periods of relegation form at Everton and the one that got him the sack at Watford aren't enough for you to come to a conclusion. Maybe you need a few more to take place to realise that he is a crap manager.

The board have seen something in him if he/we can get the right balance, and they’re is still some signs he can, but to get a manager at the hardest league in the world with ZERO experience is sheer lunacy

How Watford realized he was rubbish but Moshiri couldnt see it is beyond me, has to be one of the worse managerial appointments by anyone in the Premier League in recent history

I voted no but on the fence.

There are pro's. He's a young coach who has certainly helped improve players at Manchester City. I like former players coming in, the identity I think works for us as a club. If a manager is seen to understand the traditions it will help them and give them more time during difficult moments.

That being said another part of me really wonders has his CV got much more than Silva? Both young Iberian coaches. While Arteta's ceiling may be higher I do think there's probably a bit more risk.

A lot will depend on where Silva finishes. If we are outside the top half the decision will likely be made. However if we are in the top half I think I'd prefer to probably let Silva see out his contract and save ourselves some money. Generally with time mangers get better.

complete hyperbole.

We finished 8th last year. hardly one of the 'worst managerial appointment' even if we do part ways with him
