Giving Arteta the job would be way too soon. He hasn't even had a management job yet. He would probably go to Arsenal over us anyway. It's most likely the job he would hold out for. Unless off course he thinks he can be the next City boss

How Watford realized he was rubbish but Moshiri couldnt see it is beyond me, has to be one of the worse managerial appointments by anyone in the Premier League in recent history
Hull were happy with him and would've kept him. It's not like Watford was the only club that wanted him.

Hull and Watford, thats the problem right there, his obvious level was never going to be good enough for a club looking to brake top 6 with money to spend
Obviously Hull and Watford aren’t the only teams on his CV, but you already know this, and limiting your appraisal to these clubs aids your habit of deliberately traducing his career to add weight to your low opinion of him.
Conversely of course the man your currently championing has no managerial posts on his CV.

Hull and Watford are his Premier League experience, one he almost kept up, the other sacked him for being rubbish, he wasnt up to the ambitions of Waford Football Club, but was seen as good enough for ours.

Anyway he now has Everton on his CV, another failure.

No. He needs to do something first as the number 1 guy.
Our next manager needs to have a track record as a winner, as manager not an assistant.

I dont think the CB has really hurt us yet, we arent conceding loads of goals.

We are creating chances most games also, the CB thing has been massively overblown.

We arent even a million miles were we need to be, we just need a few more breaks and players to perform at the level we have seen from most of them.

The squad is far from perfect, but its show at times that its capable and able.

Wait until this crazy christmas period, only then will you really see the holes in our squad. Obviously the Gbamin injury is something neither Marcel or Marco can be blamed for, but there is no doubt that we needed a CB/CM way more than Zaha. Brands is bulletproof to most fans and it does my head in.
Look at the interview after southampton, Silva alluded to the whole 'losing big players' thing and i agree with him. Like i said on a earlier post im not being a smart arse but a small group of us said it on toffeeweb, marcel called the whole Zaha thing completely wrong, Marco has took more than his fair share of blame.

Just get it done. Restore some sort of pride in the club.

Hard to see how it'd be any worse than what we are seeing now but it's a huge ask for a first job. We would seriously need to back him next summer. The idea a new manager with fresh ideas will come here to tweak the squad is deluded.
