Has it? I haven’t really followed it, but it doesn’t surprise me.
City have been open regarding how they're upset with their approach, and if reports are correct they're also displeased with how Arteta has conducted himself.

Pep was very guarded in his interview the other day, and you can take that as either him being upset that he's left now, without a replacement, or his actions overall.
People have to stop expecting players and managers, especially foreign ones with no allegiance, to show loyalty. Football is a profession and the players are just out to further their careers and maximize their pay packages.
I agree to an extent as we often misguidedly confuse our ambition, love and loyalty for the club with a players who, in a reality, sees the game/club as a job.

Nevertheless, it is also acceptable to expect people to be respectful to a previous employer and one where the fans have shown you so much love. Did he?

I think we shouldn't confuse a person being ambitious and self-driven and one who is perhaps disrespectful due to their own ego etc. I'm not sure which one he is!
Will he actually be taking charge tomorrow?
No, Ljungberg is still managing the team until the game and then he will take over. I'm not sure if they'll still have a new manager bounce as they'll want to impress.

I wanted them to come to Goodison still being in the wilderness, so we could have give them a tonking and set our stall out for Carlo. Hope that still happens!

I think most people are just thinking his style is going to a clone of Pep, I can’t see what other basis a club the size of Arsenal would take a risk on a manager who’s never managed before.

This is spot on, the loyalty thing is nonsense, when was the last time we signed a player and admitted he wasnt being loyal, did we say it was wrong of Gueye to jump [Poor language removed] for buttons and stay at Villa to get them back up, no of course we didnt.
Arteta played well for us and wore the EFC strip with pride, good luck to him.
