Militant thread locking

OK, I know I am going to get some MOD grief for posting this but, why keep locking threads when they get a little bit political.

It's a forum ffs and this is the ALE HOUSE, an "Off Topic board where you can discuss whatever you want."

It's worse than bluekipper (shudder) for trigger-happy mods locking threads and threatening posters who dare to get political or mildly contraversial.

In closing the Israel thread, the mods are no better than MOSAD.

I don't care how it's spelt at this moment in time. The point I was trying to raise was the issue of thread locking with no apparent reason or explanation.

As a regular user of GOT I expect some sort of explanation.

Anyway, sorry mods if you are upset by my post, I just wanted to know how it worked and what could and couldnt be said (without reading the small print like tubey appears to have done).

If you upgrade to Silver or Gold the mods will consider your request and discuss it with you. Money talks.
