minor things that make you fume

Contract stated that work not collected on days xyz would go into storage, collected then with a fee, and if further not collected then auctioned off.

I had tried emailing and calling them to let them know I couldn't make those days, with no reply - come to collect only 1 day late because it was my only option (ready to pay storage fee) and the place is closed down.

Speaking to woman in charge on fb she reiterated to me about storage, but claimed because they closed there is no storage and thus it's 'gone'.

Turns out they closed 3 weeks before the exhibition end too, see no reason whatsoever why they wouldn't contact me to say things have changed etc.

Not only that, a woman I know who used to work there told me she was in fact emailed about them closing and telling her to collect her work. So wtf? Oh and they haven't paid wages since May....

So in essence they've gone bust ?

Sounding more and more like a job for the police and or a private investigator

Essentially, their website has changed and basically says goodbye and that they are becoming only a digital service which doesn't really make any sense.

I'll hit up citizens advice also and see what they have to say on the matter.

Also have an email sent asking what's going on etc but I'm assuming I won't see a reply.

Sounds massively dodgy to me, like they've gone bust to avoid the tax man - creditors etc.

Try the Citizens advice and also have a hunt around online, as sometimes there are people who will help off their own back, as they hate theses people, having had it done themselves at some point.

I will do. Thanks for all the responses by the way (and everyone else).

I think the fact they didn't even bother to contact me when they supposedly knew perfectly well they were closing down gives me good grounds to go off. Though ultimately if they have 'disposed' of it then I don't really know what I'll get out of it all :(

Ex landlord holding onto my £950 deposit.
Deposit protection scheme gash.
I've just seen he's totally refurbished and carpeted the whole house, put in a new boiler, when ours was faulty for 3 years btw. And he's selling it for £350k.
Thinks I've moved back up north, I haven't.

Wife won't let me go and have a viewing pretending to be a buyer.
