How is that off topic? Trackpad is the equivalent of a mouse on a laptop. When it stops working it is indeed a minor thing that makes you fume.

Back on topic; I hate the inconsistency of boiling eggs. If I do two each day at the same temp with the same amount of water, then one day they're perfect, the next day boiled solid and the next day the white is still slightly snotty

Are the eggs starting at the same temperature each day? On a cold morning, they'll take longer to cook.

The way an industry rips you off...


Bought a new cooker which got delivered the other day....didn't realise they no longer come supplied with connecting hose. They want to charge me an extra 70 quid to have it fitted.

I've bought the hose myself for 18 quid. . The cost of a corgi registered fItter to come and connect other is outrageous. .. all I need to do is screw one end into the cooker and plug the other end into the inlet pipe. 5 minute job ffs

I bought a leccy cooker 3 yrs ago . The "fitting" charge was also £70 . Koff. Bought some cable and the brother-in-law did it for 4 cans of cider. Got a fridge at the same time . £10 to install it . No thanks ,I can put a plug in a socket myself
