minor things that make you fume

Sunday drivers.....aaaargh

Just had to nip to work, both ways I was stuck behind an old codger doing 25 in a 50 for about 5 miles , no where to overtake ut loads of laybys for them to pull over.

So selfish, literally 50 cars affected by their inability to drive normally.

Took a car out for a test drive yesterday. Bit of town driving, bit of blast down the Lancs and then I figured I'd take it down some country lanes to check the handlin and how it is on hills. Got stuck behind some old duffer doing 25 in a 60, on a clear, bright, dry day with barely any traffic on the roads.

It is infuriating and totally selfish. No wonder people get the rage.

Here's one to ponder.
One of my neighbours has just raised hell because we painted the side of the fence panels that face onto the side of my driveway. He says that the fence was paid for and erected by him some years before we bought our house and we had no right to interfere with the fence. The reason we painted the thing in the first place was due to the fact last year while we were away on our jollies, he decided to repaint our side and did such a botched job on repainting the thing that it looked awful so we took it on ourselves to bring it up to a reasonable standard. So he's kicked off big style saying I had no right to paint it. For the record, not one drop of our different coloured paint was visible on his side. I kind of took the view that as he would not see any of my side of the fence, what did it matter to him.
Me, I'm relaxed about the whole episode but is he being an arse or what?

He is definitely being an arse. I had similar a few years ago with my neighbour who objected because I painted my side of the fence with coating that wasn't his choice (the colour was okay, not the manufacturer). We did the only sensible thing, we moved house. Who needs A'holes as neighbours?

I've moved house a good few times and one thing is as sure as night follows day.
The moment you attempt to improve or alter your property you can be certain that for whatever reason no matter how pathetic that reason may be, your neighbours will have something to moan about.

Sneak out in the middle of the night and spray paint massive cocks all over the place on his side of the fence, that`ll learn him.
