minor things that make you fume

Our news and weather being dominated by a storm in the US!! Who cares?? It's just weather ffs,it happens everywhere every day. People are starving, dying being locked up, the world is teetering on the edge of a financial crash and we are sparring with the might of Russia, why is the main headline a picture of (average sized) waves off Carolina?

US pronunciation of 'solder'. Was thinking of swapping out the pick-ups on my bass and watched a couple of tutorial videos on the internet's foremost video upload site. First bloke pronounced it 'sawder', thought it may have been an regional thing, but lo and behold, the next video was the same.

Is this real, or have I just seen a couple of dodgy speakers?
