minor things that make you fume

Been patiently waiting for the oven to heat up so i can my supper this evening (pizza). After waiting the requisite time I've gone back into the kitchen to place said food in the now hot oven.... only to discover I turned the fecking grill on by mistake.

Supper delayed by another 30 mins FFS.
Perfect for cheese on toast doe lad.

Folks panicking over the prospect of a bit of cold weather.

Are Hitler's fascist hordes on the Normandy coast, waiting to invade?, no. :coffee:

Get yer thermals out and carry on.

;)

This old chestnut.
Driving earlier with a clear road in front of me. 200 yards further on a parked car on the other side of the road to me. Approaching the parked car a car coming the opposite way to me decides not to pass it as it would have put him on a collision course with me so waits for me to drive by. As I did he sounds his car horn and gives me the middle finger, presumably because I didn't acknowledge his gesture of not driving into me.
At this point I've got to say I honestly usually acknowledge such actions, but I was engrossed by some politician spouting cack on the radio and didn't.
So the thing is, why do drivers want praising for doing what is the correct action in the first place?
