minor things that make you fume

It's safer.
Of course a jury of random citizens know more than the research scientists who gather the data. An obvious job for courts to decide!!

The list of actually known carcinogens is very, very small. Most things people are scared of are 'suspected' carcinogens. To get this label they practically force feed the stuff to rats in enormously more concentrated doses than you would normally experience and if they develop a tumor then they get the label. Doesn't necessarily mean the stuff is dangerous. You are more likely to due if old age these days, reading all the health and safety small print that accompanies everything you buy.

I'm convinced that every effective chemical made will eventually be outlawed and replaced with something less effective, more expensive, and something you need to buy more of!

Its not like the jusry made their mind up based on their knowledge of either the chemical or medical proffessions... thaty have a bunch of experts come and testify and show evidence for both sides.
The UK is far ahead of the USA on GMO's , labelling, food origins, organics etc...
The makers of round up are famous for manipulating the market and now they are adjudged to be purveyors of Cancer.
I reserve particular fume for the neighbour who sprays his lawn with this crap and thinks it isnt affecting my family - [Poor language removed]!

Can't be this. Glyphosate would kill his lawn stone dead. Other weedkillers can be selective (blade leaf or broad leaf) but glyphosate gets em all.

For weeds you don't need any chemicals whatsoever. Dig them, pull them, burn them or deprive them of light - costs nothing. Better than putting glyphosate into the local insects and wildlife.

Glyphosate is designed that it instantly breaks down into harmless chemicals on contact with the soil. It doesn't persist in the environment.

The dog has just ripped the Mrs really, really expensive slippers to bits whilst I've been sat on my arse watching the golf.
She's due back in a mo from the shops.

Hiding them is the obvious solution here, but what to do later on when she wants to wear them..

Sake.
