minor things that make you fume

Gyms seem to bring out the absolute worst in some people. I'm glad I'm not alone in being frustrated by the often asbo stuff that goes on in them.
There’s only one gym I’ve ever been to in which the owner actively sought out lazy people. Once I forgot to strip my deadlift bar and he found me and told me off. I felt terrible about it as I genuinely forgot and always strip my weights.

I’d happily pay an extra £5 a month for the gym to employ a grock to guard the free weights section.

The studentification of Liverpool city centre:

I live on the edge of the centre, near the cathedrals, so am often in and around town. It's not difficult to notice that student accommodation and related student services now prevail as the dominant function of the area.

With this has come all manner of anti social behaviours such as noise pollution, littering with junk food wrappers and public vomiting.

It's my view that the city's economic well being is now so dependent on students that they have developed an untouchable attitude. Many of them even live in gated communities so cant be approached about their all night noise or whatever. They often behave as if the laws and obligations of society don't apply to them.

Then the obligatory look around to see if anyone witnessed such an impressive feat.

I wish gyms would be harsher on people that didn’t put weights back etc. I’d love to go to a gym ran by a clean freak.

Mate someone was doing it purposely this morning then looking round with a smile, I think it’s narcissism, any attention is good attention and they can’t see it’s annoying other people.

You should have shouted across to him a VERY loud voice
" Oi pal haven't you got the strength left to put all your weights back , don't worry if you're feeling weak , I'll do it for ya "

Unless of course he looks at you like this .......

With it being half term there is always an increased number of 16 to 18 year olds coming in during the daytime and these jerks piss me off with the looking in the wall mirrors. Not while doing their lifts, but making sure their caps are sat correctly on their bonces.
