But here I am, both lads grown up doing exceptionally well in their jobs and having given me grandchildren. Can't see me moving back now, no matter how many times I say it. 1982 - to date Maidenhead

Really enjoyed living in all places. Would go back to any of them.

Living close to Lincolnshire I was often tempted to consider crossing the Humber and put down roots there. A lovely county as long as you avoid Grimsby, Scunthorpe and Boston.
 
People who don’t drive in bus lanes when they can. Some of the bus lanes round here are only Mon to Fri but people don’t read them.

Also if I am bored I may watch dash cam on YouTube. Some of them are bad, but a few are people in the wrong themselves or if they just chilled out and let the people say sorry it’s all good.

when was Hull the city of culture? Not a big thing but a few of us went with work to meet a contractor we were using. So went on the train. When we arrived we had a nice woman come up to us and ask us if they can help with anything? It was weird so we checked our wallets and left.
over a few free pints and meal spoke to the team who live in hull and these were like the local FYI help team because they had the award.

great idea but they didn’t wear any signs or anything so thought they were on the rob!

2017 city of culture. Was good while it lasted with some good events.
The ambassadors for the year where usually in a grotesquely blue colour anorak or fleece.
As much as I take the piss, that year the city did good. But the experts who were parachuted in to organise the thing have all moved on, and the city is back to its shambolic state as perfectly illustrated by the football team.

Not exactly.
Goodnight - spoken to some one who has stated they are going to bed - (have a) goodnight ('s sleep, see you in the morning)
Goodnight - spoken by you as you go to bed - I'm off to bed see you in the morning
 
The current lottery whereby if you're out and about keeping sort of active and people of a like mind are approaching you.
Do you seek eye contact with them and say hello, or keep your focus on the horizon or fixed gaze to the floor and ignore them completely?
I'm tending to the latter as I'm fed up of me greeting someone and them looking at me as if I'm Gary Glitter on day release.

Surely this restricts your running & general play, it's unnecessary & looks silly...
 
Underwear. As in stuff for me.

I am very fussy, will only go for a woven boxer but they have to look nice.

Why do most pieces of underwear have the makers name on the elastic band??

I have a weird aversion, maybe even a phobia of labels so having the name of a company above my wanger knocks me sick.

Also who exactly is this done for??? It's hardly prime advertising real estate!
